Examiner insight
I know how marks are awarded because I've awarded them
I'm not a recent graduate working through a textbook. I spent three decades in senior teaching roles at leading independent schools, including as Head of English and Director of Digital Learning. I've assessed thousands of students, set and marked exams, and mentored countless young people to places at Oxford, Cambridge, and top universities worldwide.
That experience means I know exactly what examiners are looking for, what admissions tutors want to see, and — crucially — how to help each student get there.
