First of all, I’m aware and a little embarrassed that I’m very late to the Dyslexia Explored party. But I’m very glad I made it eventually; it’s a great podcast with hundreds of fascinating guests and I’m really enjoying ‘meeting them’ as I shuffle my way around the room, glass of (slightly warm) wine in my hand.

I discovered the podcast via this episode featuring Gustaf Öqvist Seimyr and Mattias Nilsson Benfatto, the researchers and founders behind Lexplore Analytics’ transformative technology.

If you ever needed reassurance that Artificial Intelligence needn’t be as scary as it is sometimes depicted, then this is it. For these two, the technology is clearly there simply to help teachers do their job more effectively and more efficiently.

And when that job is helping children to read, then it’s hard to imagine anything more important.
